The Swift treatment directs six to eight watts of microwave energy to induce the immune response. This energy penetrates the skin, causing heat in a series of five two-second applications. Application may feel like the snap of a rubber band, followed by a tingling sensation, but most patients leave the office with no pain or required recovery time.
